We aim to offer a unique sales/rental/installation/technical support and advice package that makes having video art in the home or office as easy as any other art form.

  • Sales

    As well as representing a large number of artists, we also re-sell video art on behalf of our clients. As part of our service, we deal with issues unique to video art, particularly archiving of back up copies and technical support.

  • Rental

    For clients who are unfamiliar with video art and would like to try before they buy, or for whom the convenience of being able to change works on a regular basis is important, we offer a number of solutions.

    Single work rental: as an alternative to outright purchase, we can provide video art work under a rental scheme. Pricing per rental is based on 10% of the sale price per 3-month period (payable in advance). After 12 payments, the work becomes yours.”

    Rotation rental: as an alternative to one off sale or rental of a work, a piece of video art work can be installed for an agreed period, after which it can be changed on a regular basis, perhaps exploring other work from the chosen artist, or looking at other artists or different styles. Pricing is 15% of the sale price for each work per 3 month period, or pro rata.”

    Curated collections: we can provide carefully curated collections of video art, providing a selection of works to run concurrently, or as part of an ongoing programme. Based on a client’s requirements, we can explore the works of a variety of artists, styles, mediums or themes, in collections that are assembled uniquely for each client.   • Installation and Technical Support

    VAG can provide on site installation service for all works purchased or rented, with ongoing technical support if required. Where needed, we can offer tailored solutions combining software and hardware for installation on the customer’s premises.

    Many of the video art works that we sell or rent come complete, either with their display mechanism as a feature of the art itself, or with a suitable means of display. Where work needs a means of display, or if a client wishes to choose something different, we have a number of partners, whose products we think are technically and aesthetically appropriate to the display of video art.
